Investiture 2 // Saturday, January 12, 7:00PM // PWYC – suggested $10
Investiture 2 is a State Event for The Imperial Court of Toronto. This is a night of pomp, circumstance and a night to SHINE! A black tie gala with people dressed to impress in crowns, gowns and jewels.
Investiture 2 will focus on titling Out of Town Courtiers and new TICOT members. The second Investiture of any Reign is also a good time to recognize participating members with elevations.
What is an elevation? An elevation is a change from one rank to a higher one. An example is elevating a Lord to a Duke or a Royal Prince to an Imperial Prince. Elevations are something that should happen during a Reign. They are rewards for service. When elevations do happen they should be given to recognize members who have earned them.
Ways to earn elevations include but are not limited to: attendance at a high number of TICOT events or representing the Court at various in/out of town functions. Producing and assisting at Court events are other ways to participate. Not everyone has the same time, funds and availability to attend functions. This is a reality and something that we are aware of. Recognizing that everyone’s circumstances are different there are also other ways to participate. These can include participation on TICOT Committees, helping to promote TICOT events on social media, helping with raffle ticket sales, soliciting prizes/sponsorships and more.
Reign XXXII appreciates everyone’s enthusiasm for TICOT. When we review the member participation in Reign XXXII with the Social Convener, Protocol Minister and other members of The Executive only a limited number of members meet the criteria for an elevation. They will be rewarded accordingly.
Investiture 2 will include titles given to guests, entertainment from invited performers, raffle prizes, and FUNdraising with all proceeds going directly to TICOT Reign 32 Charities (PWA, Rainbow Railroad & SOY).
This is a CURATED show. Performers are invited by the Reigning Monarchs.
There is a suggested donation of $10 per person
