— Now Magazine

A TIMESHARE PERFORMANCE

In 1992, novelist Brian Francis placed a personals ad in the newspaper. In total, he received 25 responses but there were 13 letters he never responded to. Now, at a much different stage in life, Brian has written replies to those letters. Featuring a cast of 13 queer actors, Box 4901 is a hilarious, strange, sweet, and awkward look back at how gay men used to find one another.

RUSH TICKETS

Feb 27, Feb 29 (matinee), and Mar 1 (matinee) Pay-What-You-Can

On selected dates, a block of Pay-What-You-Can rush tickets will go on sale at noon for that day’s performance, and you pick the price. If cost is a barrier, this is your chance to get an affordable ticket. If you are able to pay more, this is your chance to increase your support for the work on stage and ensure it stays affordable for those who need it. Pay What You Can tickets are available until 7:00pm for evening performances and 2:30pm on afternoon performances, or until they sell out – whichever comes first.

Rush Tickets are generally only available in-person at our box office, and we recommend getting here early for more popular shows as these tickets can sell fast. However, if getting down here in the middle of the day presents a barrier – accessible transportation, childcare, etc – simply call the box office at 416-975-8555 and we’ll hold up to two Rush Tickets for you that you can purchase when you arrive to see the show.

timeshare is very specifically an un-company. We are an artist collective, seeking to support one another in the creation, development, and production of new work. Our work is about discovery and the creation of opportunity; we provide an infrastructure for individuals, groups, projects, and collaborators to hang their work on, in order to find the right opportunity. We know that by accessing a shared economy, we can do more together.
