Fempocalypse is an annual fundraiser produced by the members of Nightwood Theatre’s Innovators Program. This year the Innovators are hosting a cabaret night fundraiser with the theme of Community Care in support of Sistering, a multi-service agency for at-risk, socially isolated women and trans people in Toronto who are homeless or precariously housed. Sistering’s programs include a low barrier 24/7 Drop In, Housing and Case Support, Harm Reduction, Peer Outreach, On the Path to Employment, Spun Studio social enterprise, and individual and systemic advocacy.

This year’s Fempocalypse will include burlesque, poetry, music, and much more! This evening of art will also include a silent auction with items and vouchers donated from local businesses and artisans. Come along and bring a friend for a night of art and community!

Our staff have been monitoring provincial and city regulations, and have used this information to create a COVID-19 Safety Package for visitors, artists, and staff while at Buddies.
