Join Canada’s Queen of Cabaret and multi-award winner/nominee Gabi Epstein for an intimate evening of song and story to celebrate Moms!
From chosen Mamas to biological Moms to figurative Mothers, Aunts, Grandmas, Stepmoms, Moms in Law, Dad Moms, and Honorary Moms, these folks have helped shape who we are and deserve some special songs belted into the stratosphere just for them. From Babs’ “People” to Jann Arden’s “Good Mother” sprinkled with Gabi’s signature mix of poignancy and humor, you are in for a treat. Her eclectic mix of reinterpreted show and pop tunes is an authentic theatrical experience like no other.
Gabi is one of the country’s top stage/cabaret performers best known for playing Audrey in Stratford’s “Little Shop of Horrors”, Fanny Brice in the Segal Centre/HGJT’s “Funny Girl”, and Countess Charlotte in Koerner Hall’s “A Little Night Music” opposite Eric McCormack and Cynthia Dale.
Her one-woman show, “Gabs Sings Babs” has been performed at Globus Theatre, Port Stanley Festival Theatre, Winnipeg Jewish Theatre, Theatre Collingwood and will be at the Capitol Theatre in Port Hope in August. She released her second album of the same name to critical and audience acclaim in 2022.
