Our featured artists is the talented and brilliantly mad-identifying poet Jamie Quinn Mader along with special guest Talia Devora! This is an all-ages, licensed PWYC event, allies always welcome! Open mic slots are 3 minutes and if you’d like to read please sign-up at the door. Buddies is a fully accessible venue with barrier-free, gender-neutral washrooms.

FEATURE ARTIST BIO
Jamie Quinn Mader (they/them) is a queer, fat, disabled, neurodivergent, mad-identifying, non-binary poet from Toronto. They have published several times with various Canadian Literary magazines and have a hybrid chapbook of essays and poetry called “Velcro Hearts: Queer notes on Love and Healing.” They are currently working on a collection around the expansiveness of queer love, attempting to illustrate how the healing they found in community can be utilized for collective liberation.
