MAY 25, 1-5PM | THE CHAMBER | FREE

The Youth/Elders Program (YEP) invites you to celebrate PRIDE at Buddies!

The afternoon event will feature performances by our cohort of Rainbow Seniors, who’ve been working over the past few months to develop their pieces through our Rainbow Seniors Project. Plus, we’ll have vendors and other opportunities to meet new people throughout the day.

The event is free but we encourage you to register below to help us gauge attendance and plan accordingly.

The Rainbow Seniors Project is an intergenerational creative and community-building process that will culminate in a cabaret presentation of new work centring the experiences of queer seniors. Providing opportunities for queer elders to develop performance and storytelling skills alongside artist mentors, network with queer youth, and share their stories at our Queer Pride Festival. The new, season-long program will have a broad impact through the creation of a handbook as a resource for organizations engaging in similar work with intergenerational queer communities.
