The event, Vibe and Verse, will feature an intimate screening of the spoken word anthology, Voetry. This edition of Voetry explores four themes: love, resilience, identity, and trauma, through the work of eight local spoken word poets. The evening will include a reception with food and drink, the film screening, a Q&A session, an open mic opportunity, and a closing champagne toast.

Our staff have been monitoring provincial and city regulations, and have used this information to create a COVID-19 Safety Package for visitors, artists, and staff while at Buddies. Additionally, all guests will be required to wear a mask to attend Buddies events.
