Tax Receipting
Buddies provides certain benefits to donors at specific giving levels as recognition and engagement opportunities. In accordance with CRA regulations, these benefits cannot be purchased directly, and their fair market value must be deducted from your donation to determine the eligible tax receipt amount. Benefits are renewable annually and expire one year after your contribution date.
Your official tax receipt will be issued in the name of the individual who made the donation. You may choose to waive benefits to receive a tax receipt for the full donation amount.
Tax receipts are automatically issued for all donations made through this form or via CanadaHelps. For donations made through Showpass, tax receipts will be issued for amounts of $40 and above.
