Buddies’ Season and Event Sponsor
With support from
SAVE THE DATE – the 2021 edition of ARTATTACK! is happening Thursday, September 23!
(Almost) every year, Buddies welcomes droves of discerning art queers and adventurous shoppers for an outrageous art auction unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Our live auction features work from some of the country’s foremost contemporary artists, while the Tuck Shop offers an astounding collection of artist multiples and limited edition prints. Packed full of tasty treats, sexy surprises and performances, and the very best in contemporary art, our space-themed ARTATTACK! will be a huge fundraiser for Buddies and an event you don’t want to miss.
This year’s ARTATTACK! looks a little different. We’ll be hosting an in-person gallery from September 18 – 22* at Buddies so you can see the works in-person. We’ll also be hosting the bidding and Tuck Shop online, making this event accessible from home as well, and allowing our collectors a bit more time to bid, buy, and mull it over.
We are also thrilled to welcome you back to Buddies! This event will be our first foray back into the theatre. We’ve been waiting more than a year for this! Our fabulous host Elvira Kurt will come through with the countdown, jokes, and stitch together a night of entertainment in music, drag, burlesque and more things we can’t predict.
We encourage you to bubble up and book tickets in groups of two or four (or more, but get in touch for groups of five or more). At this time, we’re prioritizing group bookings but will have a plan for solo folks closer to the date. Please write to us at email@example.com if you have any other questions. Limited seats and capacity are available for this event, so get organized and get booking!
This year’s curators include Paul Dotey, James Fowler, Noah Gano, Alison Postma, Chris Rouleau, and Sid Sharp. Each year, Buddies commissions an original print to celebrate the event. This year we are also so pleased have work created by Meaghan Hyckie for ARTATTACK! 2021.
Gallery Hours: September 18 + 19 from 1 – 5PM, and September 20 – 22 from 4 – 8PM. Or by appointment.
Our ARTATTACK! catalogue is now online on Shopify
