Tap Dance + Jazz Night will be celebrating live jazz, tap, and improvisation! Hosted by Victoria Miller!
Victoria Miller is a Toronto based tap dancer, proud to participate in both the dance and jazz music scene. She is passionate about bringing tap dance and jazz in the same space, participating in jams around the city, and incorporating live music accompaniment in her work. This honours the legacy and connection of these two Black American art forms and how they developed side by side, following the values of improvisation and finding one’s voice through the form.
Starting the night with a Free Community Tap Class, open level, tap shoes optional. Bring your friends and tap your feet!
Jam goes from 9-11 pm, open to all jazz music & dance enthusiasts!
Tickets are available online or at the door. If you like what you hear, we encourage you to give a tip and all will go directly to the band!
