Too Queer: A Bi Visibility Cabaret
June 23
June 23, 1:00 – 5:00 PM // Alexander Street Parkette // Free
Note: This event will be ASL-interpreted.
Since 2014, Too Queer: A Bi Visibility Cabaret has been holding space for bisexual+ culture across Canada!
Too Queer creates a loving container in which bisexual, pansexual, and polysexual art can develop and evolve. Too Queer creates a safe space where bi+ folks and our allies can gather and form community.
Curated by Katie Sly, this special daytime edition brings you bi+ art from across Canada and the U.S., with performance art, spoken word, dance, and music, including:
an artist who has been with the Too Queer project since our first event in 2014, Sofí Gudiño and the Inamorata Dance Collective
Toronto darling and a recent star of CBC Arts’s Canada’s a Drag docu-series, Heath V. Salazar
Joining us from Treaty 7 land, a wild poet mixing tender discontent with soundscape, Audrey Lane Cockett
San Fransisco-based, in-your-f*cking-face feminist performance artist, Melissa Koziebrocki
headlined by Toronto operatic soul/alternative R&B legend Witch Prophet.
