ArtAttack!

ArtAttack! is Buddies’ annual art auction/fundraiser/art party.

Our last edition of ARTATTACK! took place on Thursday, November 7, at Buddies.

ARTATTACK! is one of Toronto’s best-loved and most outrageous art auctions. The night offers art aficionados and novices alike an exclusive chance to scoop up work by over 40 visual artists and enjoy an unforgettable night full of surprises.

Our 2024 live auction curation by Emily Gove, Zachari Logan, Philip Leonard Ocampo, and Alison Postma, with Keith Cole returning to curate the legendary tuck shop. Hosted by Paul Hutcheson.

Foster-a-Lot

In addition to bidding on and purchasing artwork from a fantastic selection of contemporary Canadian artists, you can now support Buddies and ArtAttack! through a new initiative: Foster-a-Lot. Read more about it below, or email ArtAttack! Coordinator, Chris Ironside, for more information: chris.ironside@buddiesinbadtimes.com.

Limited Edition Prints

The Artist Limited Edition Prints were introduced to the auction in 2013. Each year, Buddies commissioned an artist for an original work, available only at ArtAttack! and prints remain on sale after the event. All proceeds go to support artistic and community programs at Buddies.

Check out some of our past pieces below, and see what’s available.

A print in four panels by Mitch Duncan. The backgrounds are teal, white, and pink. The four panels show disparate elements that come together more and more. In the final, lower right panl, we see a blue head with a yellow neck, with a small flower overlaid.
