Community Tap Class 7 – 7:45pm

Opening Set w/ House Band 8 – 8:45 pm

Jam Session (all are welcome!) 8:45 – 10:00

A tap dancer poses with her arms across her body to the side and her right leg in the air behind her left leg. She has long black curly hair in a ponytail and wears an orange top with flaired sleeves, black pants, and navy blue tap shoes. She poses in front of an orange gradient background -- as if she is about to break into tap dance. Hosted by Victoria Miller!

About Victoria: Victoria’s love for tap dance is fuelled by music, movement, and authentic expression. Her current practice focuses on live music collaboration, exploring the instrument of taps and body from the lens of an improvisational musician. Victoria has performed in the house band for several Toronto live music jams including Conversation Jam at the Tranzac (produced by Vincent Marchesano), and Listening Room (produced by Davie Studios). Her recent performance credits include a residency dancer at the 2022 Toronto International Tap Dance Festival (directed by Allison Toffan & Juliana Kelly), a residency dancer for Rhythm and Sound’s “Revamped” (directed by Johnathan Morin & Cori Giannotta), as well as a presenting choreographer and dancer at showcases Fever After Dark (directed by Jerome Bobb) and Unite Dance Showcase (directed by Kiana Smith). Victoria teaches around the GTA from ages 5 to 85, and takes pride in sharing her love of tap dance with integrity and respect. Catch her tap dancing at a local live music jam, or take her weekly drop in classes at City Dance Corps!

Come on by to the Cabaret with your dancing shoes, or to enjoy some live jazz and tap dance!
