VoicED is an annual community art event curated by the National Eating Disorder Information Centre (NEDIC) that takes place during Eating Disorder Awareness Week (EDAW). This year, we’re focusing our attention on under-recognized barriers to accessing care for eating disorders, such as poverty, the ongoing impacts of settler colonization, and navigating care experiences where people’s identities and histories are not affirmed. By providing a “voice” to those with living and lived experience, we hope to cultivate a community of hope and change and dismantle the discrimination faced by people affected with eating disorders.
