Buddies’ trusty bookkeeper Leila and her husband Andrew run an awesome health food store called Sunshine Natural Foods on College St at Dovercourt across from the West End YMCA. On Pride day they’ll be set up in front of Buddies selling 100%natural juices and popsicles.
Leila says: “What I love about Buddies is that Pride happens year-round here. It is all around us – in the unique events that happen there, the incredible shows and the amazing people who work there who make it all happen. It is an all-the-time, never-stops place to experience Queer Pride whenever we want, and the best place to be, and the centre of the community, during our city’s Pride festivities. I love Buddies!”
